Second interview date stated on p.ii. The note beneath the Part II heading (p.32) repeats 'November 2, 1978', but Dunn refers on p.23 to 'last time', so Part II is assigned to the second session; date assignment inferred, the date itself stated.

Paul M. Dunn: Only this. I think the early thinking and the planning by Dean Peavy in the late teens and the twenties, in respect to the advisability and desirability of establishing a forest property that could be used by the students in their every day class programs, has proved to be a great benefit to the School and to the University, and the State of Oregon. There has been a lot of research carried out on the McDonald Forest area; for example, the sizable genetics area under Dr. Kim Ching that is located down the road from the Arboretum gates. Also, there are several other research areas, and tree plantings. The two forests provide a really great outdoor laboratory for the School, and are well used.
