p. 68

Bob Zybach: Just a little homesite?

James Hanish: Just a little homesite.

Bob Zybach: We just passed an orchard back there on the right would that have been the Tandy's orchard?

James Hanish: Well, I couldn't tell you.

Bob Zybach: Ok. Then the Tandys would they have been right in. . . to our right here?

James Hanish: Yes, this is where the Byrd house is right in here, that big oak base, that's where the Byrd homestead was, and the Tandys was over the other way.

Bob Zybach: Between Byrd and the creek?

James Hanish: Yes.

Bob Zybach: Ok, and then the Byrd ranch went out this way?

James Hanish: Yes, it extended all the land from there.

Bob Zybach: Ok, what was the next place here on the left, who was the next person up on the left here?

James Hanish: Raintree.

Bob Zybach: On the right who was the next person?

James Hanish: There wasn't any on the right. There's no houses on the right until you get to the road that goes out to the highway.

Bob Zybach: Ok.

M. Brinkley's House

Bob Zybach: We just went by the orchard, the Brinkley's orchard there?

James Hanish: Yes, Brinkley's orchard.

Bob Zybach: And the gate that says no hunting, that was the entrance to their.

James Hanish: Home.

Bob Zybach: And where was their home located?

James Hanish: It was right in between those bushes there you see. It wasn't very far off the road. Right in all the brambles.

Kevin Sherer: [KEVIN] Where the orchard is?

James Hanish: That's where it was.

Bob Zybach: And the Brinkleys owned on the left hand side?

James Hanish: They owned that and they owned all this.

Bob Zybach: Oh, on the front here too.
