Part II. The book's own note at the head of Part II (p. 97) says the second interview took place in Charlie Olson's home near Summit, Lincoln County, Oregon, on June 16, 1990, and that it opened with the interviewers examining two photographs from his family album - a family portrait from a little after the turn of the century and a photograph of his sister at the family Soap Creek homestead after a snow storm a few years before World War I. The narrator's wife, identified only as [Mrs. Olson], also speaks in this session.
