What this is
Before the oral histories, Bob Zybach worked in contract reforestation. Oregon State's description of this series is brief — reforestation business records, 1972 to 1990 — and the Library has not seen the boxes. What such a business generates is the working paper of one of the trades this collection's narrators talk about, kept by the man who later became its historian.
It also explains where the rest of the collection comes from. The habit of going to a place, writing down what is there and dating it did not start with an interview; it started with a planting contract.

What this series is not
It is not the corporate and financial material that turned up inside the August 2026 upload — bank statements, a credit report, tax filings, invoices. Those are unrelated to this series, were identified and set aside without being read, are not described anywhere in this collection, and were not deleted from the creator's own files.
What describing this properly would take
A decision by the creator, and by Oregon State as the holding repository, about whether any part of the series can be opened — probably item by item, and probably only the parts that carry no personal or contractual detail: unit maps, species and stocking records, and the like. Until then the right description is this one.
