The Library recognizes contribution with a small set of badges granted by the librarian-side. State experts hold deep knowledge of one state’s record; OASTL and ASTL board members are seated on the relevant association boards; Friends of the Library have materially supported the institution; editorial contributors have shaped the record through published reviews and corrections; citizen historians have brought primary sources to the table.
