The description, as written
The video's description exactly as it stands on YouTube, including the time codes above.
INDEX TO VIDEO (35 min., 53 sec.) This "virtual" field trip is based on a number of detailed on-site oral history interviews with Jerry Phillips and David Gould in 2017 and 2018. This route was successfully followed by the Southwestern Oregon Community College (SWOCC) 2018 and 2019 spring term F251 Forest Recreation classes. Due to coronavirus restrictions the field trips for the 2020 F251 class were videotaped and these files -- with the additions of a YouTube hyperlinked index and Closed Captioning -- are also being used for the 2021 class for the same reason. The Elkhorn Ranch field trip covers the southwestern portion of the Elliott State Forest and features stops at the historic Elkhorn Ranch site, the West Fork Millicoma, and Jerry Phillips Reserve. These "virtual" field trips are hosted by Dr. Bob Zybach and videotaped by McKenzie Peters, NW Maps Co. David Gould served as volunteer field guide, a position he has maintained on most Elliott field trips with SWOCC F251 students during the past four years.
