Precision
Read off Bob Zybach's hand-labeled tour-route map (Zybach-Ross_20171108-10.jpg, "Elliott Forest Oral History Tour, November 8, 2017"): stop marker #B-11 (marker 38) falls in PLSS T23S R11W 26 (Willamette Meridian). Coordinate is the centroid of that section from BLM CadNSDI; accuracy about +/-1.0 mile. Not a surveyed position for the named feature. Bob plots two Elkhorn markers: #B-11 in sec. 26 and #B-10 in sec. 23 (1 mi north), so the ranch complex, orchard, bridge site and lunch stop span both sections. GNIS Gould Lake lies 1.3 mi SE, consistent with the Gould family ranch location.
