Now on the bench: the first verified claim set
The Library's first candidate for its Verified shelf is under construction: Canonical Claim Set 001 — Federal School-Grant Doctrine, a set of narrow propositions about the trust character, exclusive purpose, and full-value protection of the school-land grants, each tied to exact quoted language from six United States Supreme Court decisions spanning 1856 to 1989.
Current state, plainly: thirteen claim records drafted; every quotation machine-checked against the retrieved opinions, twenty-nine of thirty passing verbatim; one quotation flagged for re-keying against the official reporter; two propositions held for narrowing; one held for counsel review.
The hornbook
The claim set is the first brick of a larger work: a one-volume reference on school-trust law, drafted in public with its verification flags showing. The working edition is readable now, flags and all.
Also on the bench
The state files beyond Oregon, Utah, and Mississippi — thin today, growing by accession. The catalog's case-law gateways — 220 files held, 19 public so far.
